🍂 A Fall Full of Learning and Growth at HMS! 🦅
What a wonderful start to the school year it has been at Heritage Middle School! Our hallways have been filled with learning, laughter, new experiences, and opportunities for our Eagles to grow. As we move through October and November, we are excited to continue building on that momentum and celebrating all the great things happening at HMS!
Over the next several weeks, students will complete their first benchmark assessments of the year. These assessments help us celebrate what students have learned so far and identify areas where we may need to reteach, provide additional support, or offer new challenges. Our goal is to ensure every Eagle continues making progress and feels supported along the way.
Learning isn't the only thing keeping our Eagles busy! Our afternoons have been filled with athletic teams practicing hard, competing, and showing off the dedication and teamwork they have put into their seasons. We are proud of our student-athletes for representing HMS with effort, determination, and school spirit!
As we wrap up the first nine weeks, we will also have opportunities to connect with families during parent-teacher conferences, take time for professional learning and planning during teacher workdays, and enjoy a well-deserved Thanksgiving break. We are grateful for the continued partnership of our families and the support you provide as we work together to help every student succeed.
Thank you for being part of our HMS family! We look forward to a wonderful fall filled with learning, growth, and plenty of reasons to celebrate our Eagles. Let's continue to SOAR together!
Show Respect, Own Your Learning, Aim High, and Rise Together! 🦅
Attendance Matters! 🦅
Every school day is an opportunity for students to learn, grow, connect, and be successful. Being at school consistently helps students stay on track academically, build relationships, and make the most of the experiences happening in the classroom and beyond. We are proud of our September attendance and appreciate our families for helping our Eagles make being at school every day a priority!
Every day truly counts at HMS!
