Reflection...

As we head into Spring Break, I want to reflect on the incredible energy that filled our building this week. Our Pep Rally was a fantastic success and the perfect way to kick off the Spring Sports Season.

A huge thank you to our Advisors for their tireless behind-the-scenes planning, and to our student hosts, Alyssa D’Angelo and Leo Marzullo, for their outstanding leadership in the gym. It was a privilege to recognize our student-athletes and witness the collective school spirit from both our staff and students.

Please take this time to disconnect and recharge. I look forward to seeing everyone return refreshed for the final stretch of the school year.

Wishing you all a wonderful and relaxing Spring Break!

This month’s recipient is a shining example of responsibility. Not only is she a leader within our halls—participating in a multitude of clubs and honor societies—but she also takes her commitment to service far beyond our school.

As a volunteer EMT and a dedicated volunteer at St. Joseph’s University Medical Center, she consistently puts the needs of others first while maintaining her own academic excellence. Julia is a proactive role model who is always seeking growth and looking for new ways to support her peers and her community.

Congratulations, Julia Zon!

The energy in the gymnasium during our Spring Pep Rally was nothing short of electric. While the primary goal of the event was to officially kick off the Spring Sports Season and recognize the hard work of our student-athletes, the afternoon quickly transformed into something much larger: a true celebration of our school spirit.

Congratulations to Krish Patel (Extemporaneous Writing) and Samantha Roussel (Health Care Photography) have both qualified for HOSA state level competition through pre-judged events. They will join Shlok Patel (Medical Assisting) and Veda Patel (Writing) on Sunday 4/11/23 to represent Cedar Grove.

CGHS took home the prize in the annual Bocce Tournament against Verona High School. Way to go!!
