Hello Woodstock Family!
For the shortest month, February sure has been a busy one. The Lunar New Year Festival on Friday night was full of exciting demonstrations and smiling faces. Thank you to all who came out to enjoy the wonderful evening and thank you to Shu Ren for bringing it to life.
The Lunar New Year fun continues on Friday. Thanks to a successful K Pop Demon Hunters event in the fall, the PTA is able to kick off the Lunar New Year parade around the school at 1:45pm with the White Lotus Lion Dancers. Thanks to everyone who showed up then to make this event extra special this week.
This week we are deciding which funding proposals are going to enhance the Woodstock community. If you missed the general meeting last night but are a current PTA member, please see below for how you can cast your vote.

Volunteer With Us
Volunteer at the PTA Clothing Closet! Monday 3/16/26
Every year, each PPS school sends volunteers to staff the Clothing Closet at the Marshall Campus. Volunteers will help students shop and find clothes that make them feel good or they will sort donations and organize the shop.
Help the Front Office with Tardy Student Check-Ins
The front office is looking for some help with check ins for students coming in late. Colder and wetter weather seems to bring more late arrivals! Please sign up if you can help.

Kinder Connect Info Sessions β TODAY at 8am and 6pm*
Please help us spread the word with friends, neighbors, preschools, and anyone else who may have a future kindergartner! Enrollment is down across the board, so getting more students registered = more resources and funding for all students and staff at Woodstock.

Metro Bike Bus and Walking School Bus Lunchtime Webinar Series
As part of the Oregon Metroβs work supporting Bike Buses and Walking School Buses, we are offering a monthly lunchtime webinar series to support leaders, planners, and educators working to make it safer and more joyful for students to walk and bike to school. The series will be held once a month on the first Wednesday of the month at 12pm from March - June 2026, and will focus on practical, real world topics including quick build infrastructure, group ride safety and de escalation, activation and incentive based programming, and honest reflections from Bike Bus and Walking School Bus leaders at different stages of their journey.
