Greetings and Salutations! Greetings and Salutations!

Today is the Last Day of July, Enhoy It!

Greetings ASASP Family,

Enjoy this last day of July and the weekend ahead, especially if you are returning on Monday for the first time since summer break began. It is my hope that you have a fantastic year. You are a survivor and the children and families you serve ared depending on you to give them your very best. Be encouraged and optimistic that this year will be full of joy and happiness.

When Will You Begin Your 210 Work Days? When Will You Begin Your 210 Work Days?

As an ASASP 11-month member the date you start and the date you complete your 210 work days in the fiscal year are up to you. As long as you work 210 authorized work days between August 1 and June 30 of the fiscal year you will be within your negotiated rights.

Which ever August date you choose to return work below, you should be done on the June date that corresponds with the start date:

August 3, 2026 then you should reach 210 on June 23, 2027

August 4, 2026 then you should reach 210 on June 24, 2027

August 5, 2026 then you should reach 210 on June 25, 2027

August 6, 2026 then you should reach 210 on June 28, 2027

August 7, 2026 then you should reach 210 on June 29, 2027

August 10, 2026 then you should reach 210 on June 30, 2027

If you are authorized to work any portion of any day that schools and offices are closed, i.e. Saturday, Sunday, some holiday or other day in which schools and offices are closed, be sure to count that day and make the adjustment with your supervisor immediately!

Did you know that it is not mandatory to start on Aug. 3rd?

Doctoral Differential Pay Expected By August 15th! Doctoral Differential Pay Expected By August 15th!

Hold On Just a Little While Longer.

ASASP has been working on behalf of quite a few of you that have not been paid your differential pay. We have been working with Dr. Joseph's team to get this straightened out and we have been assured that the pay is coming in August.
