We celebrated Red Ribbon Week with enthusiasm and purpose. Our students participated in meaningful activities that reinforced the importance of staying drug-free and making positive choices. It was inspiring to see their understanding grow and their commitment shine.

Spirit Week added a burst of fun and creativity to our days! From themed outfits to exciting events, the energy throughout the school was contagious.

ALL IN ON ATTENDANCE โ€“ Every Day Adds Up

As fall activities begin, itโ€™s easy to let a day or two slip byโ€”but each absence matters. Keep attendance strong to build momentum for the rest of the year.

Students who miss 2โ€“4 days in the first quarter are 5 times more likely to be chronically absent by yearโ€™s end.The late bell rings at 7:40 am. Students should be in their classroom ready to learn at that time.

The school day ends at 2:20 pm. As displayed in our parent-family handbook, parents can pick their students up early until 2:00 pm. An Early Checkout is any time a student leaves school before the end of the instructional day. Early checkouts follow FCSโ€™s same rules for an excused or unexcused absence, and Iโ€˜ve linked the districtโ€™s excused and unexcused attendance policy for you here. This same policy applies to students reporting to school tardy. When students leave school early or report to school late, it will be coded in Infinite Campus as unexcused unless the appropriate documentation is provided per the excused and unexcused attendance policy.

๐Ÿ“„ 2025โ€“2026 School-Family Compact & Parent-Family Engagement Plans

Please take a moment to review Cliftondale Elementaryโ€™s 2025โ€“2026 School-Family Compact and Parent-Family Engagement Plan (PFEP), as well as Fulton County Schoolsโ€™ Parent-Family Engagement Plan.

Parents, school staff, and students partnered together to jointly develop the School-Family Compact and PFEP. Input was gathered through annual surveys, feedback forms, and spring input meetings. The School-Family Compact explains how families and teachers will work together to ensure all students reach grade-level standards at Cliftondale Elementary School.
