Birthday Parties and In School Celebrations:
We understand that all children deserve to feel loved and celebrated on their BIG day, however FISD policy does not allow students to pass out/share food, candy, or cupcakes. If you would like to send your child with goodie bags with small trinkets/toys that is fine!
If your child is wanting to pass out invitations AT SCHOOL, they must have enough for the entire class. If you would only like to invite a select group, that MUST be done outside of school. This creates conflict in the classroom.
Here are classroom numbers in case you would like to send goodie bags or invitations:
Parker: 19
Jasmine: 19
Aranda: 18
Wenham: 18
Akbar: 19

Snack Reminders
We have snack time from 2:20 - 2:30 PM . Please pack a healthy, nut-free, utensil-free snack separately from their lunch. Please DO NOT put snacks in your child's lunchbox. They do get the two confused and often eat their snack for lunch and lunch for their snack. Pack separately and have a conversation about the difference with your child. Thank you!
TIP: label "snack" and put it in the front pouch of their backpack! Quick, easy, healthy snacks are best! No nuts, please!
Lunch Restrictions and FYIs:
If your child has any food restrictions, please click here! You can also monitor their purchases and add money to their account. Our cafeteria offers extra snacks and ice cream for students to buy. If you want to prevent your child from buying, please place a restriction on their account. Classroom teachers do not have access to this information and it must be in writing on their account.

If you put the lid on a hot lunch in the morning, it makes it very hard for someone to open it for your child at lunch. It seals shut. Allow it to cool before putting the lid on it. This prevents it from exploding onto the floor at lunch. Thanks!
Breakfast
If your child will be eating breakfast here at school, please have them here at 7:20 or as CLOSE AS POSSIBLE. Breakfast is from 7:20 - 7:40 in the cafeteria. There will be an adult assisting. The bell rings at 7:45 and students return to class. Thank you for all that you do!
NO OUTSIDE BREAKFAST WILL BE ALLOWED into the classrooms! For example, Whataburger, McDonald's, Donuts, etc.
If you're child eats breakfast at home, they will come straight to the classroom.
