Dear Holliman Families,
I am extremely pleased to share our 2026 RICAS and NGSA scores along with our RIDE Star Ratings!
ALL of our teachers, staff, students and families worked extremely hard to recover from our experience at our temporary home at Gorton and we are well on our well to showing great growth!
I am confident if we continue to actively practice the initiatives and action steps in our School Improvement Plan in the areas of Teaching & Learning and Climate & Culture, we are going to continue to celebrate our successes in these areas.
RICAS and NGSA parent reports will be sent home with students in grades 4 & 5 later this week. Families are also welcome to visit the RIDE portal for student reports.
RICAS Family Portal:
The RICAS Family Portal provides families with online access to a student’s individual performance data on the RICAS tests and will allow you to track assessment information throughout your student’s academic career. Hornet Hive Hustle Update!
We’re MORE THAN HALFWAY to our $15,000 goal! Our Hornets have raised over $8,400 with just two weeks to go before our fundraiser ends on October 30!

Stuffie Sleepover Adventure! Imagine this: students bring their favorite stuffie to school. After dismissal, the kids head home, but their stuffies stay behind! That evening, a special Holliman Hornet stuffie leads the stuffies on an adventure around Holliman while the PTA captures all the fun in photos. The next school day, students reunite with their stuffies and get to see pictures of their big adventure!
The top-earning classrooms will also receive a special Holliman Hornet stuffie to celebrate their achievement!

Join us for a special celebration honoring our veterans! The entire Holliman community is invited. Please arrive at the flagpole by 9:45 AM wearing red, white, and blue. Guests are welcome to join us in the library for light refreshments after the ceremony.
Know a veteran you’d like to honor? Please complete the school’s Google Form by Friday, October 30.
MONDAYS, NOVEMBER 16 – DECEMBER 7 — MASTERY MARTIAL ARTS CLUB
Our first after-school club is coming soon! Mastery Martial Arts will lead sessions on November 16, 23, 30, and December 7. Pickup will be at 4:15 PM. More details and the flyer will be shared soon. Stay tuned!

October has been a busy month, and we're so grateful for the incredible support our families continue to show the PTA!
Trunk or Treat: Thank you to everyone who attended, hosted a trunk, and helped sell raffle tickets! We also appreciate everyone who donated raffle baskets and purchased tickets. Your generosity helped make this our most successful raffle yet! Raffle Total: $569! Thank you for helping us reach this amazing total!
Dine-Out Fundraisers: We've raised $1,611.99 so far this school year! Thank you for supporting our restaurant partners and helping our PTA raise funds.
Whether you donate, participate, volunteer, attend a meeting, or simply spread the word, every little bit makes a difference!
Every dollar raised helps us provide wonderful opportunities for our students and staff, from school events and assemblies to teacher grants and field trips.
