Optional Chromebook Protection Plan for Students in Grades 6-12

Every Prosper ISD student in grades 6–12 is issued a Chromebook and charger for both school and home useβ€”either as a new device or continued use of a previously assigned one. • Student Responsibility: Students must care for their device and prevent loss or damage.

  • Parent Responsibility: Parents/guardians cover costs for any lost or damaged devices.

πŸ’» Technology Device Protection Plan (Optional)

  • Coverage: Protects against the full cost of accidental damage.

  • Incidents Covered: First two incidents of accidental damage per school year.

  • Plan Cost: $30 per student per year ($15 with Free/Reduced Lunch).

  • No Coverage: Parents without the plan pay full repair or replacement costs.
