Blue Ridge High School Named 2025-26 Palmetto’s Finest School

Blue Ridge High has been named a 2025–26 Palmetto’s Finest School, earning one of South Carolina’s highest honors during a live statewide announcement shared at the school. The recognition reflects a year of standout performance, including being the highest performing high school in Greenville County, leading the district in academic growth across core subjects, and posting top gains in graduation rate, AP success, and career certification pathways. The award, presented annually by South Carolina Association of School Administrators, recognizes schools with innovative and effective programs that make a strong impact on students and their communities. Principal Ashley Wardlaw said the honor reflects decades of work since the school’s founding in 1954, crediting students, staff, and the Ridge Nation community for building a culture centered on strong relationships, student achievement, and shared pride in reaching this milestone.
