If any of these apply to you, sign up for Career Exploration & Health for Medical Careers for your Spring Block! See Ms. Cain in Room 36 for more information or go to the counseling office if you have questions.

The El Camino Lyceum Honors Program recognizes students (at the end of senior year) who demonstrate outstanding academic achievement, leadership, and community service. Students who meet the Lyceum Honors requirements as seniors become Lyceum graduates (either Honors or High Honors). They receive special recognition at graduation.

If you are interested in earning this honor as a senior...you can grab an application and start tracking your progress now! Free event for San Juan Unified families to help in accessing essential tools and resources to help support student success. Free resource fair, learning materials, food boxes, diapers and more! This month will include free winter coats (2 per family, while supplies last) and access to the Encina clothing closet. Learning materials will include literacy and writing tips for all grades.

It's never too early to plan for the summer of 2027 - and Mr. Hasdovic has a great trip set up for just such plan! Join him on his 16th trip overseas and we'll tour through France and Spain, emphasizing the arts from these two culturally rich countries! To learn more about his great trip and how your students (and even you!) can get exposed to some of the most amazing art in the world, attend Mr. H's information meeting in Room 45 from 6-7 pm on Thursday, November 6th! Parker's Statement: Title: Dragon Fountain -

I like dragons and wanted to make something with a dragon and I thought of making a statue that looks like a fountain, I also saw a lego set that has a similar concept of a dragon statue with water pouring out of its mouth so I took inspiration from that, but definitely changed a ton of aspects of it. I first sketched out the shape of the dragon I wanted from different angles and pointed out specific details and also came up with some color schemes I could paint it. Other than the general concept of the dragon spitting water to be like a fountain that I saw from the leggo set, the shape of the dragon along with the structure and colors were completely from my own mind. I showed unique glaze techniques with layering different colors of high fire glaze to show different values and colors and tones.
