A Note from Principal Eck
Dear Westmoor Families,
We had an amazing Pack Meeting this week, with students working together to create beautiful mosaics on the sidewalks around the school. It was wonderful to see their creativity, teamwork, and school spirit on display.
Time is flying by, and we are already down to the final 12 days of the school year. To celebrate the excitement of the end of the year, we will also have a school-wide countdown during the last seven days of school for both students and staff. More information and details will be shared in next week’s newsletter.
Wishing you a wonderful weekend!
Quote of the Week
Each week students may submit a positive quote that captures and motivates their peers to persevere and feel good. We then showcase the quotes throughout the school building. Students may submit a quote, using this link.
Believe it; Dream it; Achieve it

PG Movie Rating Permission Form
Our Bulldog Pack Day is coming up on Tuesday, June 2nd. Students will get to choose a movie to attend in the afternoon. Please fill out the linked form to give permission for your child to watch a PG movie option. If you do not feel comfortable with a PG movie rating, your child will have G-rated movie options to choose from. Please complete this form for each child in your family by Friday, May 15th.
Student Registration for 2026-27 DUE TODAY!
Registration for the 2026-27 school year is due today. All families received an email from District 28 on Monday 4/13 with a snapcode necessary to register your student. If you haven't already, please register your student for the 2026-27 school year today. This needs to be done for ALL students!
Cell Phones/Watches during school
An important reminder that smart watches, like cell phones, should not be used for communication during the school day. We have seen an uptick in students using watches to text or communicate with others during class time and it is impacting the learning environment. Thank you for your support.
Library Returns for this year
Share a picture with us!
We’re excited to showcase the special moments and achievements of our students and their families. Whether it’s a holiday, cultural tradition, a child’s milestone like riding a bike without training wheels, a big win at a soccer game, welcoming a new pet, or anything else that makes you proud — we’d love to feature it! Here is the link to share a photo and brief description.
