Are You Ready for Big Truck Night???

Big Truck Night is one of our biggest events of the year,. Bring the whole family to see some exclusive cars, and sit in/touch huge construction trucks and lifts.

Kids can race through the inflatable obstacle course. Grab some great food and drinks from Kona Ice, Doaky Coffee, and Toto's Tacos . Shop some community vendors.

IMPORTANT MESSAGE ABOUT PARKING
Due to the construction on Pinnacle Peak Rd, there is no parking along the side of the road anywhere between 67th Ave and 71st ave.

Administrative Appreciation Day is Wednesday! Administrative Appreciation Day is Wednesday!

We all love Ms. Lenhart and Ms. Coto! They keep our front office running, they help our parents and provide information, they act as our nurse, and generally make everyday a little brighter.

Wednesday, April 23rd is Administrative Assistant Appreciation Day!

Be sure to show them some love. You can see the attached "favorites" list if you would like to get them a little treat. Notes from scholars are always wonderful.

Homework Club (A.K.A. aftercare option next year)

Currently, before and aftercare is provided through Liberty Kids Preschool at a monthly cost to parents. We are exploring more cost-effective options to provide activities and homework support next year. As we plan, we need to get an idea of how many parents need and would use these services next year.

This is what we are looking to provide:

Space, time, and adult support to work on homework

Opportunities for scholars to get exercise and play games when homework is finished

Time: 3:30-5:00 p.m. on full school days (not provided on half days)

Cost: $350/semester per scholar (regardless of days attended)

**At this time, we would not be able to provide additional care before school.

Please indicate if you are in need of or would be interested in this service next year in the form below.

Bravo to Mrs. Robison and Scholar Council for planning and executing a flawless talent show! It was truly spectacular. We are so proud of all of the participants! It is not easy to perform in front of an audience and they were simply incredible!

Driveline Procedures Driveline Procedures

Morning driveline begins at 7:30 a.m.

Afternoon driveline is 3:15-3:30 p.m. (gates open at 2:30 p.m.)

RED ARROWS- this is the kindergarten driveline for pick-up after school only. All kindergarten scholars (with their 1st-8th grade siblings) will be waiting in the courtyard and they will exit through the wooden gates to load their cars. Pull as far forward as possible. See the red X.

IMPORTANT! Liberty Kids Preschool uses this curb to pick up at 2:45 p.m. Kinder parents cannot start lining up on the curb until 3:00 p.m.

BLACK ARROWS- this is the driveline for 1st-8th grade pick-up. The gates will open at 2:30 p.m. Please pull as far forward as possible so we can remove traffic from Pinnacle Peak Rd.

Waiting on Pinnacle Peak Rd- cars that are facing WEST need to pull as far off the road and into the dirt as possible while they wait to enter the parking lot.

Out of consideration for other parents who have been waiting in line, please do not drive through and then wait in the parking lot to cut the drive line. We have received multiple complaints from parents who are waiting in the long line. We appreciate everyone doing their part and showing each other courtesy and patience.

Please follow these guidelines for a safe and efficient pick up:

  • Have your car tag clearly displayed.
  • Pull up to the furthest cone possible.
  • If you need to buckle your child, pull forward and off to the side.
  • Eyes up, phone down please!
  • Show citizenship, patience, and courtesy to other parents & drivers- YOU are setting an example for all of our scholars.

IMPORTANT NOTICE- Student Pick-up Time Limit

After school, scholars should be picked up by 3:30 p.m.

Scholars who are still on campus after 3:30 (and parents are not actively waiting in driveline) will be walked to Hero Club and parents will be charged a $20 non-registration fee plus $2/minute past 3:45 p.m. After two occurrences, your scholar will be enrolled in Hero Club at the monthly fee.

If you know you will frequently arrive later than 3:15, please register your scholar for Hero Club.
