Week of January 11

Principal Corner

We had a great first week of the second semester! We welcomed new students in several classes. Our current students were very friendly and helped everyone feel welcome. For spirit day Friday, students may dress like their friend(s). We will have no school on January 18th. We will take this time to remember Martin Luther King Jr. and how his story has shaped us today.

Covid Links

We work hard to protect all staff and students at BYE. Last semester we had 20 positive Covid cases. This is less than 1% of our Young family. We will continue following safety protocol this semester. If at any time your child is positive for Covid, please go to the site below and complete the form titled Student/Staff Covid 19 Positive. If your child has been exposed to Covid, please go to the site below and complete the form titled Student/Staff Covid 19 Household Exposure. The site is: sdale.org/covid

Thank you for your help with keeping us safe.
