Thankful Thursday

As we continue our Third Week of Advent — Gaudete, a time of joy and rejoicing — we pause to celebrate the hope that has been building within us. This weekend, we will step into the final week of Advent, centered on love, the heart of all our preparation and anticipation. Think of the first time you fell in love (whether as a parent, spouse, child, or friend) and remember that deep care and genuine compassion that filled your heart. Advent invites us to savor that love and recognize its source! Praying Christ’s perfect, unconditional love pierces our hearts this Christmas and transforms the joy we have been preparing to receive.

With grateful hearts, we thank you for journeying through this first half (almost!) of the school year together through prayer, preparation, and rejoicing as one community. May the joy and the love we await continue to guide our hearts in the days ahead!

• Friday: Wear your favorite Christmas sweater or shirt with uniform bottoms. We encourage families to use what they already have - a red St. Cecilia spirit shirt is perfect!

• VNA Vision Health Screening (1/9/26) - We need 6 volunteers to assist our Visiting Nurse Associate (VNA) in completing our student health evaluations the morning of January 9th from 8am to 2pm. No experience necessary! Please email Miss Jen at jsupancheck@stcecilia.net if available to help.
• Activities Booster Club
• Basketball season is on a roll! Help is needed and appreciated in the concessions or running scoreboard. Either way, you've got a court side view! 🏀
• Art Room Helper
• Home & School
• "Room parents" are sharing details via email for class Christmas celebrations! 💌
• Lunch Helper
• Join us in the cafeteria for a couple hours to serve students & have fun! Help on Monday or Tuesday is greatly needed & appreciated. 🍕
