A note from Mrs. Forbis
It was wonderful to see so many parents coming into the school to meet with their child's teacher. Fall conferences are not the only time to get in touch with your child's teacher. Open communication between the parent and teacher helps support students' personal and academic growth throughout the entire school year.
CONFERENCE FOOD: Thank you to Home and School for organizing the food for Parent/Teacher conferences and thank you to the parents who brought food and drinks in. Everything was delicious, and we were able to have some leftovers.
HOME AND SCHOOL MEETING: Thank you to the parents and teachers who were able to attend our first Home and School meeting of the year. Home and School help our school in so many ways.
IOWA TEST SCORES: A copy of your child's IOWA test score was sent home this week for grades 3rd-8th. This is only one piece of what we look at in terms of how our students are doing and what we need to work on to help them improve.
PANTS/SHORTS: Shorts season has been extended because of the warmer weather. It would still be a good idea to make sure you have pants on hand when we do have to change over.
