❗❗If you are dropping your student off after 8:00 AM, they must be accompanied by a parent and signed in through the main office. If your student is leaving prior to dismissal time, a parent must sign them out through the office. ID may be requested at secretaries discretion.

Grades K-4: Bell rings at 7:35 - Students will be marked Tardy after 7:40 AM and absent after 8:00 AM.

Upon dismissal from school, students must leave the building and playground and are to go directly home, except bus students who will be going to their respective buses. Students should not be sent to the office to wait for parent pick-up after dismissal time.

In October, while much of the country observes the second Monday of the month as Columbus Day, South Dakota and Arizona recognize it as Native American Day, a state holiday. The South Dakota legislature renamed Columbus Day as Native American Day in 1990.

UPCOMING HEARING SCREENING NOTIFICATION

The South Dakota Services for the Deaf (SDSD) will conduct free hearing screenings at our schools: PVE grades JK, K, 1, 2 & 3 and Stagebarn grades 5 & 7.

THIS YEAR, HEARING SCREENINGS WILL TAKE PLACE ON:

Wed 10/30 at Piedmont Elementary & Thurs 10/31 at Stagebarn Middle School

If your child does not pass the hearing screening, our school will contact you with the results. Rescreens or further testing can be completed at no charge, with the pediatric audiologist at:
