The following suggestions will help your child do his/her best on the SC Ready tests:

· Be sure your child gets plenty of rest the night before testing.

· Encourage your child to eat a good, nutritious breakfast.

· Be at school on time.

· Remind your child to listen to/read the directions carefully and attempt all questions.

· Avoid making any appointments during the scheduled testing dates.

· Please arrive at school by 8:00.

On Friday, May 1st at 8:00 a.m., Ambler Elementary will proudly welcome back its graduating seniors. Students and staff will line the entire school in two rows outside, creating a special pathway as we cheer them on while they walk through the middle.

We wish our graduates the very best in all their future endeavors. We can’t wait to see how you will change the world!

Graphic with a pie and silly string on it

3rd–5th grade will celebrate their hard work on i-Ready on Friday, May 15th at 1:15 p.m., and K5–2nd grade will celebrate on Tuesday, May 19th at 12:30 p.m.

For each grade level, one student who met their stretch goal in reading and one student who met their stretch goal in math will be selected in a drawing. The reading winner will have the chance to pie a teacher, and the math winner will get to silly string a teacher!
