Checking Student Grades in Infinite Campus
We are already seven weeks into our nine-week grading period, and it’s hard to believe how quickly the time is moving! Report cards will be sent home shortly after Fall Break, which makes now the perfect time to check your child’s progress in Infinite Campus. Taking a few minutes to review grades together is a great way to celebrate your student’s hard work and set goals for the weeks ahead. Staying connected to their progress helps students feel supported and encouraged as they continue to grow. If you need help logging in, please reach out to the school office—we are happy to assist!

What’s Happening During WIN Time
WIN (“What I Need”) time is one of the ways we make sure every student gets the right support at the right time. Our Math and ELA teachers use classroom assessment data to see where students might need just a little extra help, and then place them in small, targeted WIN groups. Some students receive additional support in Math or ELA, while others build skills such as reading strategies, creating graphs, or interpreting data. This dedicated time helps students grow in confidence and ability, and we love seeing the progress they make. Please encourage your child to make the most of WIN time—it’s designed just for them!

Conferences - October 7th and 9th

Our upcoming conferences will be student-led, which means your child will take an active role in sharing their learning with you. Instead of the traditional parent-teacher conference, students guide the conversation by showing their work, reflecting on their progress, and setting goals for growth. This approach helps students take ownership of their learning, build confidence, and practice important communication skills. It also gives parents a firsthand look at what their child is proud of and where they are working to improve. We believe this process strengthens the partnership between school and home while empowering students to take responsibility for their success.

Student-Led Conferences will be held on October 7th and 9th from 4:00–7:00 pm. Links to sign up for a time will be sent out soon. We look forward to seeing you there!

Cell Phone Policy Cell Phone Policy

As you have likely heard on the news, Oklahoma now requires every school district to adopt a cell phone policy where students are not allowed to have their cell phones, headphones, or smart watches used during the school day. Click on the link below to see the full Crooked Oak cell phone policy.
