Extracurricular Expectations
Parents and students,
As we start the school year and start having extracurricular activities, we would like to share some reminders of expectations at the events.
- At all sporting events, we encourage students and parents to cheer for our team as they compete.
- We do ask that you direct all that cheering and yelling in a positive manor towards our team. Please do not single out or yell negative things towards the other team, coaches or referees.
- In our gym, students are expected to keep both feet in the bleachers at all times and follow dress code like an normal school day.
- We ask all participant to refrain from running towards the court during exciting action.
There are specific stadium and bag rules when attending events at one of our stadiums. These can be found at this link https://athletics.pisd.edu/about-us/athletic-venues/plano-isd-stadium-bag-policy-stadium-rules.
In PISD, we have cashless entry to our games. Tickets for games can be purchased at this link https://athletics.pisd.edu/tickets. Please know there are season tickets that can be purchased as well and all sports passes.
Students and parents that do not comply with these expectations, will be asked to leave by either or the referee and administrator on duty. It is our goal to create a fun safe environment for our students, parents, and community to come enjoy the event.
We thank you for helping us create an outstanding environment for everyone to enjoy our wide variety of events at Plano East!
We hope to see everyone on Friday night at Kimbrough!

PTSA WELCOME
Hello Plano East Families!
Welcome to the 2025-26 school year! My name is Mitzi Behnke and I am happy to serve as the PTSA President, supporting our school and community. The PTSA Board has been preparing for many of the events that make PESH a great place to be. Senior Parking Painting will take place over the weekends of August 8th – 10th, and August 15th – 17th. We are grateful to the families who purchased these spaces as this fundraiser allows the PTSA to fund scholarships and the Senior Celebration in May. If you are looking for Plano East spirit wear, it is available for pre-order on our website at www.planoeastptsa.org and we will have a table on campus during Expedition East and at the Community Pep Rally on August 22nd. Please consider becoming a member of the PTSA to help us with our mission, memberships are available on our website. If you have an existing Membership Toolkit (MTK) account from another school, that same login information will work on our website. If you would like to volunteer, please be sure to complete the volunteer registration and background check through Plano ISD.
Enjoy the remainder of the summer, and I hope to meet you soon!
