Good Morning,
A heartfelt thank you to our wonderful families and the WECC Parent Council for your incredible support during Staff Appreciation Week. Your generosity has been overwhelming, and we are deeply grateful for the delicious treats, the lovely luncheon, the thoughtful breakfast, and the beautifully curated gift bags you provided to our dedicated WECC team. Your kindness has truly made this week special for all of us.
We sincerely appreciate your continued partnership and all the ways you make our school community stronger!
Art Show:
We hope that you will join us on May 22nd from 5:30-7:00 p.m. to the WECC's Annual Art Show. This year's theme is the Many Faces of Social Emotional Literacy. It is always a fun filled event. See the flyer below.
Kindergarten Transition event:
Entering kindergarten is an important milestone in your child’s life and we want to celebrate this milestone with you and your child. Weymouth CFCE invites you to “Kindergarten Here I Come.” Every Weymouth resident with a child heading off to kindergarten is welcome to attend this fun filled event. Fall 2025 Kindergarteners will receive a free t-shirt and a book and will participate in fun activities. Families will have the opportunity to connect with Parent Councils and other community resources and partners.
See Flyer with complete details.

Parking:
This is a friendly reminder that families should refrain from parking in either of the lots near Town Hall. These lots are reserved for Town Hall use only. Families are welcome to park in the front of the building around the inside of the horseshoe or in the lot designated for staff. We appreciate your attention to this notice.
Have a great weekend!

I'm a Super Reader
Help us reach our goal of 10,000 books
One of the most important gifts we can give our children is to help them learn to read and write so that they can succeed in school and beyond. Confident, active readers are able to use their reading skills to follow their passions and curiosity about the world. We all read for a purpose: to be entertained, to take a journey of the imagination, to connect with others, to figure out how to do something, and to learn about history, science, the arts, and everything else.
We hope to foster the love of reading in our students. Please help us by helping your child read each day. Attached is a reading chart that your child can color each time they read a book. Bring the reading chart to school once all apples are colored and your child will receive a Super Reader sticker. You may choose to only read 10 books per month or submit as many reading charts as you want. We will be keeping track by classroom. If WECC students reach the goal of 10,000 books, we will have a Bubble party at the end of the year.
Help our students reach their goal!
