GLES PTA Weekly Update
Monday, January 19th - Sunday, January 25th 2026
Wednesday January 21st, 6:00pm in the Cafetorium, followed by meeting in the Library
Wednesday 6-8:00 in the school cafeteria. Kids are welcome (we'll have some childcare and activities there for after dinner when us grownups are doing the meeting part).
We're going to have some special guests who are coming to talk about doing some "Know your Rights" trainings with any community members who are interested in knowing what to do in an encounter with ICE or the police. (Note: we won't be doing the training at the PTA meeting, but they'll have some handouts and we can figure out when it makes sense to actually do that training - so if you're interested please come!) Other things we'll be talking about:
- School auction
- After-School Enrichment
- Garden projects
- 2nd grade swim program
- Upcoming All-School ice skating field trip
- ... and more!
Classes start the week of Feb 9th (after the play ends)
You can register now on 6-Crickets! There is still space in almost all of our classes, and if you need a scholarship, we still have some available for:
- Ultimate Frisbee (3rd-5th)
- Beading & Crafts (K-5th)
