Principal's Note

Happy day, middle school families! I pray you all had a fantastic Easter weekend. As we move deeper into April, our calendar is filled with end-of-year events and focus on final academic benchmarks. In the coming weeks, we will begin our spring NWEA testing sessions. These assessments are not something to stress over; rather, they are a wonderful opportunity for students to showcase the academic growth they have achieved since the fall. This week and next week students will be connecting with their advisors to discuss their goal setting leading into the testing session. Please help us set them up for success by ensuring they get plenty of rest and arrive on time. We are so blessed to partner with you in watching these students grow, and we look forward to an excellent final stretch of the school year.

Our 5th-grade students recently stepped into the role of "YouTubers" for an outstanding STEM project!

Their goal was to produce a collaborative video sharing a Bible story and personal devotional with their "followers." Students used the presentation tool Canva to create their project from start to finish. Students took ownership of their learning by navigating every step of our school's Innovation Process. From brainstorming and scriptwriting to storyboarding, filming, editing, and presenting their final cuts to the class, they did it all.

We are incredibly proud of their hard work and the courage they showed in using technology to confidently share the truth of God's Word!

Chapel Recap:4/7 Chapel Recap:4/7

Matthew 28:19 calls us to “go and make disciples… baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.” This week in chapel, we were reminded of this beautiful command as Pastor Dustin shared on the significance of baptism. Looking to the example of Jesus’ own baptism, as well as the many moments throughout Scripture where believers publicly declared their faith, students were encouraged to see baptism as an outward expression of an inward transformation—a step of obedience that proclaims the work Christ has done in their lives.

As we look ahead to next week’s “Baptism Chapel,” we are filled with anticipation. This is always a special time in our community as students step forward to publicly declare their faith in Jesus Christ. Middle School students interested in being baptized can connect with Mr. Banks to obtain a permission slip, while High School students should contact Mr. Agrimson. We look forward to celebrating what God is doing in the hearts of our students as we gather together for this powerful time of worship and testimony.
