Transportation Update 9.10
Tracking App Outage
On Tuesday, Nov. 4, Viafy had to reset their servers to solve some technical issues. This caused data to be frozen this morning with intermittent delays. Since we rely heavily on this app, it caused some level of inconvenience this morning. It was nothing on our end. They said it would take 4-6 hours for things to catch up. We hope that it will be functioning properly this afternoon.
Bus 16 Change
Starting this afternoon, Tuesday, Nov. 4, we will begin running Robin Ridge and Deer Creek subdivisions again. We will drop Robin Ridge riders at their residence. We will drop Deer Creek at the stop sign at Llano and Deer Creek.
In the morning, pick up times will revert back to the times before the Tripp construction. Bus 16 will leave the lot at 6:40a.m. The first pick up in the Falls will be at 6:45 a.m.
Bus 27 Change
Beginning tomorrow Wednesday, Nov. 5, Bus 27 will begin leaving the lot at 7:00 a.m. This will make everyone’s pick up time 10-12 minutes earlier. This will allow us to drop at the SIS and SES campuses by 7:30 a.m.
We have been arriving at 7:40-7:42 a.m. This is not enough time for kids to get off the bus, eat breakfast if needed and get to class by 7:45 a.m. This schedule adjustment will help both campuses begin their day at 7:45 a.m.
Bus 24 Change
The Barnes Bridge is open. With the opening of the bridge allows us to continue to Collins. Bus 24 will no longer pass by and come back on the SMS/SHS run. So all riders on Greenway, Barnes Bridge, and Tanner Creek will have to be ready when the bus comes initially. We will be going out to Collins and then to the schools.
