Every High School Recognized in multiple categories

State Superintendent Richard Woods has named all five Paulding County School District high schools to the list of Advanced Placement (AP) Honor Schools for 2025. In a press release, Superintendent Woods announced that East Paulding High School, Hiram High School, North Paulding High School, Paulding County High School, and South Paulding High School all received honors in multiple AP categories.

Notably, Paulding County High School earned AP Honors in five out of six categories, while both North Paulding High School and South Paulding High School earned AP Honors in four categories.

β€œI am extremely proud of our high schools for earning these prestigious honors,” said Superintendent Steve Barnette. β€œIt is a great achievement that all five of our high schools earned honors in multiple categories. AP participation is a proven indicator of student success at the post-secondary level, and we want to see as many students as possible taking AP courses because exposure to these courses will help prepare students for success today and tomorrow and can help students earn college credit. I also want to commend our AP teachers for implementing an instructional focus that has helped our students succeed in these rigorous courses. It shows our schools are committed to preparing students for future success.”
