Estimado Familias de la Escuela Primaria James John,

Estuve con gripe a principios de esta semana y no pude reunirme para nuestra charla con el director el martes. A continuación se muestra información sobre nuestra dotación de personal y presupuesto para el año escolar 2025/26, qué planeamos compartir.

Recibiremos un aumento en la financiación de equidad, un aumento en la financiación del programa multilingüe, una mayor asignación de maestros para el Centro de Aprendizaje de Educación Especial y la incorporación de un Entrenador de Clima Escolar para el año escolar 2025/26.

No perdimos ni ganamos maestro/as y mantuvimos nuestro equipo de intervención académica. Menos la reducción de fondos, que son dólares del Título 1 de $160,000 para el próximo año, todas son adiciones positivas al ecosistema educativo de nuestra escuela.

También quiero alentar a las familias a escribir a nuestros líderes en Salem para financiar completamente nuestras escuelas. Nuestra financiación del Título 1 para el año escolar académico 2025/26 estará muy restringida. La incertidumbre con las sanciones del gobierno federal sobre los fondos y subvenciones escolares también puede afectar áreas como nuestro equipo James John Heart and Mind o tener un subdirector, así que escriba a nuestros líderes en Salem.

Dear James John ES Families,

I was out with a flu earlier this week and was not able to meet for our Principal Chat on Tuesday. Below is information about our staffing and budget for the 2025/26 school year, which I was planning to share.

We will receive an increase in equity funding, increase in MultiLingual program funding, increased Special Education Learning Center Teacher allocation and an addition of a School Climate Coach for the 2025/26 school year.

We did not lose nor gain any classroom teachers and we maintained our academic intervention team. Minus the reduction in funding, which are Title 1 dollars of $160,000 for next year, all are positive additions to the educational ecosystem of our school.

I also want to encourage families to write to our leaders in Salem to fully fund our schools. Our Title 1 funding for the 2025/26 academic school year will be highly restricted. The uncertainty with federal government sanctions on school funds and grants can also impact areas such as our James John Heart and Mind Team or having an Assistant Principal, so please write to our leaders in Salem.

That was a lot to share and I plan to update the community again at a PTA meeting or Principal Chat in the near future.
