Catholic Schools Week
- Catholic Schools Week (school is in session) January 26th-January 31st.
- Celebrate your Parish Sunday: Everyone is invited to the 9am mass in-uniform and join us in the parish hall for hospitality afterward! Any student that attends the 9am mass in uniform will receive a tag day next week. If you cannot attend on Sunday consider celebrating the mass with us on Thursday morning at 8am.
- Celebrate the Community Monday: The Harlem Wizards visit to SPS originally scheduled for January 27, has been postponed, more information coming soon!
- Tuesday: Students voted on a special lunch choice of homemade chicken nuggets or veggie sticks and french fries. (For those with egg allergies, keep in mind egg will be in the batter.) Original menu items will not be served.
- Celebrate the Nation Wednesday: Open house is from 8:30 am-11:00 am. Invite your friends or family who are interested in hearing more about SPS. Wendy Burns could always use some parent volunteers to help with tours! This is also Career day, you should expect to hear from your homeroom teacher about coming to speak to the students about your career!
- Celebrate Vocations Thursday: We will be having our second annual drive for the Harvard Square Churches Meals Program during Catholic Schools Week. After Mass on Thursday, January 30, the entire school will form a bucket line to Christ Church's soup kitchen, which is at the bottom of Concord Ave. outside of Harvard Square.

- Sign up to host a table (alone or with others) with food and decorations for your country OR sign up to drop off a dish at the potluck table! Click here to Sign-Up!
- Food portions are small bites for tasting as folks walk around learning about all the cultures represented at SPS. Decorate your table in any way you like to show off your country, some examples: country flag, posters with maps and key details, media, photos, cultural games and crafts. Interactive tables are very popular and we will be putting together a scavenger hunt for the kids.

- New this year! We’ll be putting together a play list of international songs to listen to as we enjoy the evening. Please recommend some fun family appropriate tunes for us to play from your country! Click here to Sign-Up!

This winter, dive into a world of snowy excitement at our February Vacation Program! Packed with laughter, friendship, and thrilling activities, it is the perfect way for kids to make the most of the chilly season! We will be learning about the Wind! Students use their understanding of weather to engineer windmills that can cause the energy of the wind to perform work.
The program will run from Tuesday, February 18th to Friday, February 21st. You can join all week or on individual days! Each day we will have an art and craft, a science experiment, or a STEM project. We will also have a daily "special activity" (each day we will surprise our students with either cooking, yoga, a movie, or a talent show!). We will provide a morning snack at 9 am and an afternoon snack at 3:30 pm. Students MUST bring their own lunch. The regular day is offered from 9 am to 3 pm for $110/day ($399 if you register for all 4 days). We are also offering an early drop-off option from 8 am (for an additional $10/day) and a late pick-up option until 5:30 pm (for an additional $20/day). We are also happy to offer a special sibling discount of 10% (the first sibling will be full price and a discount will be applied to subsequent siblings). A minimum of six students each day is required to be able to run the program.
