Principal Message
Dear Henry Families,
What an amazing day we had at our Henry Hustle Fun Run on Friday! A huge thank you to our families for your continued generosity and support of our PTO and Henry Elementary! We are so grateful for your partnership and all you do to make our school such a special place. We truly couldn't do it without you!
We are excited to celebrate reaching our fundraising goals with TWO whole-school rewards!
Friday, October 16 – PJ and Stuffie Day! We reached our $7,500 fundraising goal, and students have earned a cozy day wearing their pajamas and bringing a favorite stuffed animal to school!
October 26–30 – A Week of Extra Recess! Students will enjoy some additional time to play and celebrate their hard work and our school community's generosity!
We are scheduling our extra recess celebration for the week of October 26–30 because next week is Abilities Awareness Week! We have several wonderful presenters joining us to share important learning experiences with each grade level, which will already bring some adjustments to our schedules. More will be sent out about this soon!
Thank you again for helping us reach our goals and for making Henry such an incredible community! We can't wait to celebrate with our Bulldogs!

Parent Learning Night
We are excited to introduce a new opportunity for Henry parents this year! Join us on Monday, October 12, from 6:00–7:30 p.m. for our first Parent Learning Night.
This evening is designed to give parents practical ideas and information about how to support your child’s learning and individual needs at home. You’ll have the opportunity to learn directly from members of our intervention and support teams, including Reading, EL, MOSAICS, Counseling, Speech & Language, and our Instructional Coach.
The evening will include two short sessions, giving you the opportunity to learn about different areas that may be helpful for your family. Please scan the QR code below or type in the tiny url to learn more about the offered sessions. A few sessions ask for an RSVP to prepare materials, so please RSVP if you plan to attend those specific sessions. We hope you’ll join us for this special evening of learning and partnership!
Parent/Teacher Conferences - Sign Up Here!
We are looking forward to our upcoming fall conferences on November 17th and November 19th. The teachers will share strategies, updates from formal and informal assessments, and other observations about your child and his/her progress. Parents are encouraged to bring their child to the conference. Student-involved conferences (or participation) is preferred, but we understand if you are not able to bring your child to the conference. We do have a system in place for student involvement so there is no pressure for parents to bring anything.
In order to make signing up for a conference more convenient, we are combining all of the conference sign-up links into this form for easy access and planning. Please sign up by Friday, November 13, 2026. More information is provided on this link!

Staff Bulldog Brag
Did you know that families can recognize staff members with Bulldog Brags, just like we do for students? If you or your child notice a staff member demonstrating one of our Henry Core Values—Kind, Responsible, Persevere, or Inclusive—we invite you to share it using the button below.
Each staff member who receives a Bulldog Brag will be honored with a certificate and a special surprise. As part of our character education, it is important for students to see adults modeling these values every day—and to hear real examples of what they look like in action!
PTO Updates
Henry Families,
You delivered on our first ever Henry Hustle! Not only did we reach our school goal of $15,000- we blew past it! Including direct donations, we are currently OVER $21,000!!
We are so excited to use these funds for our school! Thank you to everyone who registered, raised, shared, volunteered, and participated in spirit week.
Our fun run was so great! Each grade ran with their buddy class, Mr. Spellicy was on the mic, bubbles were flying, bells were ringing, flags were waving, and awesome dance moves were busted out.
We can continue to collect funds through 10/28, so keep them coming! If we hit our STRETCH goal of $25,000 both Dr. Oliver and Mr. Spellicy will spend the evening camping on the Henry school roof!
Information for direct donations can be found here:
