Greetings, Warrior Families!
This coming week is National School Counselor Week. During National School Counselor Week, we seize the opportunity to honor and appreciate the invaluable contributions of school counselors across the nation. This special week is a time to recognize their dedication to guiding students through academic challenges, personal issues, and career planning. School counselors play a pivotal role in fostering supportive and nurturing environments that enable students to achieve their fullest potential. We take this week to shine a light on the tireless efforts and positive impact of these unsung heroes. Their unwavering commitment to student well-being and success makes this celebration not just a gesture of gratitude but a recognition of the essential role counselors play in shaping future generations.
I would like to say a sincere and heartfelt thank you to our counselors, Mrs. Tolbert, Mrs. Guerra, Mrs. Gates, Mrs. Clark, Mrs. Chandler, and Mrs. Cantrell. These six counselors have been tremendous assets to our campus and community! They truly help our students reach for the stars. I know I speak for our entire staff when I say that we are honored to serve alongside them at PHS. THANK YOU!

JUNIOR / SENIOR PROM FUNDRAISER INFORMATION
Junior and Senior parents!
Prom season is upon us and our Prom fundraiser is open now until February 29th. We want to give the students the best prom experience we possibly can, and we need your help. The fundraiser is a vote for a theme where every $1 equals 1 vote to the theme of your choosing. Every dollar raised goes straight back into prom and paying our vendors.
Prom is May 4th, 2024 and ticket sales details will be announced soon.

Outdoor Adventures Club - Chili Cookoff and Cornhole Tournament
The Outdoor Adventures Club will be having its second outing of the year. Along with some of the community service projects that we have done this year, our club is dedicated to helping our community to simply get outside and take a break, have fun and fellowship with each other. This year, the students have decided to start an annual tradition of cooking chili and throwing bags.

Student Food Pantry
A School Pantry Program is currently available at PHS for students that need weekly food assistance. If you would like more information regarding the program, please contact your student's counselor.

Kiwanis Annual Diaper Drive for Local Childrens Organizations
The Texas Hill Country Kiwanis Club are preparing for the Annual Diaper Drive to support local organizations such as St Jude’s Ranch for Children, the SHARE Center and Crisis Center of Comal County. We are in need of diapers of all sizes as well as baby wipes. No donation is too small.
Donation boxes will be delivered the last week of January and items will be picked up the second week of March (4-8).
