Parent Newsletter - September 10th

Pirate Press Parent Newsletter - September 10th

Message from Ms. Miranda

Dear Pirates,

As we get closer to the fall holidays, we will have activities on campus. Some of these activities will require for parents to RSVP. For this reason, it is extremely important that you check your email regularly. Please note that our newsletter is our most important source of communication.

The end of the nine weeks is quickly approaching. Please check your child's grades regularly. If you have questions rgarding your child's grades please be sure to reach our to the teacher. If your child has a failing grade, students are able to redo work and earn the average of both grades.

Intersession will take place October 2nd through October 6th from 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM. Teachers will be sending information out this week for students who will be recommended to attend. Please ensure your child is available this first week.

We are appreciative of the opportunity to serve the families #TeamSISD and hope to continue the strong partnership between home and school. On behalf of the Myrtle Cooper faculty and staff thank you for entrusting your children to us!

Sincerely,

Ms. Miranda

Proud Principal

Walk a Mile in Her Shoes supports YWCA El Paso's Sara McKnight Transitional Living Center for survivors of domestic violence.

At this event, men are asked to walk in high-heeled shoes to actively engage in solidarity in confronting gender stereotypes and expectations. Together we can face the root causes of many gender violence instances. Support our Pirate Teachers as they walk for a great cause!
