Save the Date: Superintendent Search Focus Group
HF Superintendent Dr. Scott Wakeley announced his retirement during a faculty meeting last month. Effective at the end of the 2024-25 school year, Dr. Wakeley will conclude his education career that spans 34 years, including 20 years as a superintendent, with four of those leading Homewood-Flossmoor High School District 233.
The Board of Education has contracted with The Alma Advisory Group to conduct a search for our next Superintendent of Schools. A major part of the process is seeking input from stakeholders on the characteristics they would like to see in our next leader.
The "What's Your Vision for the Future of HF" engagement process includes several opportunities for community members to meet with The Alma Advisory Group consultant. Please mark your calendars for these opportunities. We hope you will join us to share your thoughts!
