Coach Schaefer's Class utilizes a study program called Quizizz frequently in class to prepare for upcoming exams, take exams, or even to restudy class material in game-like styles. Coach Schaefer herself is a Certified Quizizz Game Changer who Beta Tests Programs to make it better for teachers. Last month, we received an email asking if Childress Junior High would like to have any students apply for an International Quizizz Student Ambassador Program that would take place from the middle of February through May. This program would allow students to work with program directors and other people world-wide testing programs and making Quizizz a better program for students as well. We selected 28 - 8th Graders that were offered to apply for the program, and of those 28 students 16 - 8th Graders applied for the Program. We learned on Tuesday that 14 of our Bobcats and Lady Cats were selected to be in this program. We would like to congratulate Slade Chapman, Claire Davis, Joah Detwiler, Taven "Ian" Duran, Bianca Escobedo, Caleb Fuller, Ivan Garcia, Avian Lizama, Ian Maldonado, Lillie Medley, Josiah Modesto, Jordyn Mora, Aria Parr, and Tyler Wiginton on their acceptance in the program! We can't wait to hear about their accomplishments and watch their leadership skills grow in the process!
