Happy Fall Break, Eagles!
It’s hard to believe we have officially reached Fall Break! We hope all of our GV families enjoy these next two weeks to rest, recharge, spend time together, and make some special memories. We are so proud of all that our students and staff have accomplished during the first part of the school year, and we look forward to returning refreshed and ready to SOAR into the remaining weeks of our second nine weeks!
Today during lunches, we were also honored to celebrate our SOARing Eagles of the Month for September! These students were recognized for demonstrating what it means to be Safe, take Ownership, Achieve, and show Respect each day at Glenns Valley.

👕 Uniform Reminder
As we head into the cooler months, please remember that after Fall Break, uniform shorts and dresses/skirts (without solid-color leggins underneath) may no longer be worn per the district dress code policy. Thank you for helping us maintain our uniform expectations as we transition into the fall and winter seasons.

Hello GV families!
I'm Cheri Puderbaugh and I have been a teacher at Glenns Valley since 1995. I've been blessed to work with so many amazing students, families, and colleagues at GV. It is truly a special place!
My husband Chris and I have 2 daughters. Anna is a student at IU School of Medicine and Sara is a student at Butler University. We enjoy attending sporting events and trying new restaurants.
I'm looking forward to another great year of learning at GV!
My name is Lacey Davis and I am a special education instructional assistant.
I have been working in special education for 13 years now and this is my 6th year at Glenns Valley.
I am married to my husband Christopher. I spend most of my time with my 4 kids, Janyia, Aalyia, Cooper, and Sadie.
Hello, my name is Lynzi Hanni!
This is my 14th year as a special education teacher and my 7th year at Glenns Valley.
When I'm not at school I love to read, ride my bike, and visit local bookstores and coffee shops. My husband and I also love to spend time with our three dogs, spoil our nieces and nephew, and travel as much as we can.
I have three kids, 1 boy and two girls. My two girls are currently students here and my son also attended Glenns Valley and is now in high school.
In my free time I enjoy relaxing at home and spending time with my family.
Hi, my name is Chassidy Pennell and I am a special education instructional assistant.
This will be my first year at GV and I am starting right after Fall Break. I am looking forward to getting to know the staff and students.
We officially met our attendance goal for the month of September! This means that our students have earned a FREE dress down day on Wednesday, October 21.
Honor an Educator
Is there a Perry Township educator who has made a difference for your student or family? Honor them with a personalized yard sign! Signs will be delivered to the school and displayed for everyone to see. We’ll also share your note of appreciation with the educator you choose.
The Honor an Educator campaign is open NOW through Friday, Oct. 2.
Purchase a sign and recognize a teacher, administrator, bus driver, counselor, support staff member, or another Perry Township educator who deserves a little extra appreciation!
