#LibraryShelfieDay #LibraryShelfieDay

January 22 was #LibraryShelfieDay! We took a moment to speak with our EVCS librarians to discuss their favorite shelf and what Library class is like at EVCS.

Happy Library Shelfie Day, we're so happy to have such fantastic librarians at EVCS!

Here is what Ms. Schneekloth, Days Park Librarian, had to say about her favorite bookshelf: "My favorite bookshelf holds the newest additions to the library. Putting up new books is so exciting and keeps things fresh."

Here is what she had to say about Library class: "You learn about a variety of things, a mixture of both literacy and hands-on activities. It's great students have an access to a number of books from different perspectives. The most important thing to me is that my library is a safe and comfortable place for all students to learn."

Here is what Ms. Brownell, Hertel Librarian, had to say about her favorite bookshelf: "This is my rotating display shelf. I change the books/decorations depending on the time of year. For example, in February, you will see a Black History Month display. In October, you'll see some spooky titles. Students may choose and check out any of the books from our rotating display!"

Here is what she had to say about Library class: "In the Library, students can expect to listen to stories, practice their digital skills, get creative, and work collaboratively!"
