Oak Ridge High School News

It will be a short week next week but very important. We will be reviewing for finals on Monday and testing on Tuesday and Wednesday. So get plenty of rest each night and remember to charge your Chromebook. 📝GOOD LUCK TO EVERYONE!!!😀 We will dismiss early at 12:30 on Wednesday. Everyone enjoy a wonderful winter break!

Our HS boys are vs The East Prairie Eagles tonight with the JV game starting at 6pm. We will be donating all profits from the concession stand and the 50/50 drawing to the families of East Prairie and Meadow Heights any donations are welcome as well. Please help us pack the stands to show our support. We would love to see you all there! The theme for tonight is Christmas.

Some of Ms Kaminskey & Mr Pobst's students along with Mr Simpson went to Southeast Missouri Hospital visiting patients in the Cardiac Department. These students made ornaments in class to give to the patients. We want to thank Mrs. Jennifer Kiplinger for allowing us to visit.

This is a reminder about our Winter Concert, December 20, at 7:00pm in the new gym.

Students should arrive at 6:30 and come to the band room. We will leave our cases in the band room and tune/warm up before the concert.

The dress is concert black. All black clothes and shoes - "festive accessories" such as ties, hairbows, etc. are welcome!

The students have been working hard on this music and we are looking forward to our performance!

Please accept my sincere apology for any confusion caused by the grades that were sent out yesterday. The grades sent out were not current grades. I will be sending out the correct grades after January 3rd. The SIS parent portal has updated grades that are accessible at any time.

Thank you for your understanding.
