PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE
Hello DKMS Families!
Just finished up another exciting week here at the middle school!
First, I would like to thank all of our students for participating in our 9/11 Writing and Drawing Competition.
I would like to congratulate our Drawing Winners:
5th Grade Aubree Curtis
6th Grade Autumn Stadt
7th Grade Peyton Danks
8th Grade Kelsey Watson
I would also like to congratulate our Writing Winners:
5th Grade Lillian McCarty
6th Grade Susie Bever
7th Grade Kayla Koan
8th Grade Alyce Donley
I want to remind everyone that our building is open for students starting at 7:30 am. If students are dropped off before that they will have to wait outside. Please make sure your student is dressed for the weather.
For the next few weeks our students will be doing NWEA testing. It is important that students are here, well rested, and have a good breakfast to start the day. We do offer a free breakfast for all of our students every morning in the cafeteria from 7:30 am - 7:50 am.
If you have not already filled out our parent survey please take a few minutes to do so by clicking on this LINK. Your input really helps us continue to grow and make decisions that will positively affect our district.
Finally, I want to welcome/introduce Marti Lindstrom as our new Assistant Principal. In the next few weeks she will be transitioning out of the classroom and into her new role. All of us here are super excited for her and she can't wait to work with our students, staff, and community in her new role.
You just can't hide that PANTHER PRIDE!!!
Thank you,
Bobby TillmanPrincipal
