Crescenta Valley Town Council is hosting an EBike Safety Meeting with C.H.P. and CV Sheriff's on Monday, May 18, 2026.
In light of the recent events in Orange County where a teen was arrested for hit and run and subsequently the parents were also charged. Our law enforcement has vital information that needs to be shared to ensure our parents and teens in the community are aware of new laws, the differences between the bikes and which bikes need a driver's license.
Unfortunately there have been too many calls of reckless riding, street laws in violation and unsafe behavior. Safety is a shared responsibility. C.H.P. and Sheriff's will be enforcing stricter adherence of the rider laws.
