Working On It Wednesdays

Each Wednesday, through April 26, we will be taking a series of short sample assessments designed to help students feel more confident and prepared for the state tests in reading and math.
Each student will need a fully charged iPad for to complete this work. We ask for your help in sharing the importance of these little assessments.

8th Grade Day on the Job
April 23, 2026
Berkeley county Schools request your support and participation in “A Day on the Job” Program on Thursday, April 23, 2026. By reporting to work with their parents, guardians, or relatives, our eighth-grade students can learn about the world of work and observe the work ethic in action. This event will clarify the career planning/course selection process and provide an opportunity for deeper understanding of economics and at the same time showcase company excellence, meet the labor market of the future and serve the community.
To participate, students will need to return a permission slip and daily log to share the details of the work day. Those are provided below or your student can get each one from the main office at school.
