7th Grade Weekly News, March 3
From the desk of Chris Howell, Assistant Principal
Good morning. Now that we are in March, hopefully the weather will finally stay warm. Friday, March 8 is the end of the quarter. Please remind students to be sure assignments are completed. Also, don't forget about ordering your yearbooks. The last day to do so is approaching.
Ms. Joyce, our school social worker, is in need of school supplies, gently used clothing or household supplies to fill the SMS Caring Closet. See flyer below.
In the spirit of giving, I would like to thank all who donated to The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. The Globetrotters and Pioneers teams were able to raise over $1,000 each. Together, the 7th grade teams were able to raise over $3,000. As an incentive to raise these funds, both Mr. Misencik (Pioneers) and Mr. Maatz (Globetrotters) told students that they would wear a onesie to school. Mr. Maatz even agreed to be duck taped to a wall. Thanks to both of these great teachers. Pictures are below.
I hope everyone has a great week.
