Dear NES Families,

Thank you to our families who attended and participated in our celebrity server event at Golden Corral November 7th! The fourth grade team is grateful for your support in helping them move towards raising funds for their trip to St. Augustine!

The PTO Fundraiser orders are due November 11th. Please make sure your student bring in their orders on Monday.

Just as a reminder...you may drop your child off as early as 7:30am. Your child will be counted tardy if they are not in the building by 8:10am. Students that come to school right before the 8:10 TARDY bell then have to walk to class, unpack, sharpen pencils, go to the bathroom, turn in papers, etc...these minutes add up and your child misses out on valuable instructional time. Thank you for working with us to keep educational momentum going.

Many holidays and breaks from school are approaching. Please remember, attendance is critical. Please work to arrange family trips around holidays that are already scheduled so that your student does not miss out on valuable instructional time.

We hope everyone has a wonderful weekend and we will see students back on Monday!

Okeechobee County School District has partnered with Varsity Tutors for Schools! All students now have access to the Varsity Tutors learning resources like live classes, chat tutoring, and more. Some students may have been assigned tutoring by your school, ask your teacher or school office if this has been provided to you. All Okeechobee County School District families can sign up for paid supplemental private tutoring for their students at a discounted rate!
