SVHS Food Pantry in Need of Items
As we move through the school year, I want to take a moment to highlight an important resource that supports many of our families—our school food pantry. Recently, due to increased demand, our shelves have been getting low. To continue providing this essential support, we are asking for the help of our broader school community.
If you are able, we welcome donations of non-perishable items such as canned vegetables and proteins, pasta, spaghetti sauce, snack bars, cereal, peanut butter, microwave meals, and shelf-stable snacks. Household essentials—such as toiletries and hygiene products (toothpaste, shampoo, deodorant, feminine products, etc.)—are also greatly appreciated. Every contribution, no matter the size, directly supports a student or family in need.
Donations can be dropped off at the high school during school hours. We are also accepting Giant gift cards to purchase needed items.
Thank you for your ongoing support, generosity, and commitment to our school community.
Together, we can ensure that no one goes without the essentials they deserve.
Thank You
Toys for Tots
As we enter this season of generosity and community spirit, I am excited to share that our Leo Club is once again partnering with Toys for Tots to help bring joy to children in need throughout our region.
Each year, our school community steps up in remarkable ways, and this year we hope to make an even greater impact. We invite you to participate by donating new, unwrapped toys suitable for children of all ages. Items such as board games, books, dolls, sports equipment, and creative play sets are especially appreciated. Every contribution helps make the holidays a little brighter for a child who might otherwise go without.
Donation totes will be located in the high school main lobby and will remain available through Friday, December 19, 2025.
Thank you for your continued kindness, compassion, and support.
2026 Multicultural Student Leadership Conference - DEADLINE December 20, 2025
The Multicultural Student Leadership Conference was born from the recognition that we often call upon high school students to be leaders in our schools, businesses, and communities.
Over eleven years, approximately 2,000 of the Lehigh Valley’s top student leaders received leadership training at the Conference.
These students were exposed to motivational speakers, impactful workshops, comprehensive panels, networking opportunities, and college and career fairs.
On January 17, 2026, the Conference will once again host 150 high school student leaders from over twenty different high schools.
The deadline to register is Saturday, December 20, 2025 - the registration application is on the last page of the attached document.
