Dear Pasadena Unified Community,

We are aware of federal immigration enforcement activity taking place in our region this weekend.

We want to assure our community that our top priority is maintaining a welcoming and safe environment for all. We are taking proactive steps to support and protect our families.

PUSD is in alignment with Board Policy and state guidance, please know the following:

We will not allow ICE agents on school grounds without prior written approval from the Superintendent or a lawfully executed court order.
We do not collect or share information about the immigration status of our students or their families.
We have also created a dedicated webpage with helpful resources for families navigating these immigration-related concerns. pusd.us/immigrationresources

We strongly encourage families to take steps to protect themselves and stay informed

Know your rights.
Have an emergency plan in place.
Reach out for support when needed.

The Pasadena Unified School District is proud to serve our richly diverse community.

We will continue to work closely with the Cities of Pasadena and Sierra Madre, Los Angeles County, and community partners to ensure that our campuses remain safe and inclusive spaces.
