English Plus

7th Grade English+

Thank you for those who have already signed up for PT Conferences. I would like to visit with everyone, so if you haven't signed up, please do so. This week, we have new Quill assigned. We are also starting our vocabulary Word Skills #1, which is due Friday. Students will continue practicing Daily Edits, and we are starting the Outsiders movie this week as a final culmination from reading the book and presenting projects. Once we finish, we will lead into our Scary Short Stories unit heading into Halloween week. Here is my Agenda for the week. Please reach out if you have any questions!

History Plus

8th Grade History+

In US history plus this week we are learning about the Bill of Rights and moving forward with our unit over the US Constitution. We have discussed the Articles of Confederation and how the weaknesses in that document led to the creation of the Constitution. Going forward we will be looking at the Three Branches of the US Government and how they interact with and work with each other. Please reach out with any questions!
