Parent-Teacher Conference Survey Responses
Thank you to everyone who took the time to share feedback through the recent Parent/Guardian Conference survey about this fall's parent-teacher conferences! More than 150 families responded, and we truly appreciate your honesty and input.
This was our first time using ParentSquare to schedule conferences, and most families told us it went well. About three out of four families were satisfied, and many of you liked being able to sign up quickly from your phone without needing another app or login.
You also shared valuable insight into where we can grow. Based on your feedback, we are taking a closer look at the following areas:
- Scheduling with multiple teachers
- Viewing and managing appointments
- Conference time availability
- Phone and virtual conference options
- Reminders and communication
We are carefully reviewing every response and using your feedback to improve our next round of parent-teacher conferences. Our goal is to make sign-ups simpler, give families a clear view of all their appointments, and make sure every conference happens the way you requested.
Thank you again for helping us strengthen our partnership with you. Your voice makes a difference!
Culture Cards Take Home Activity
Culture Card Bingo Is Coming Home!
For the past four years, our schools have celebrated special cultural months like Hispanic Heritage Month, Black History Month, Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month, and Native American Heritage Month, to name a few. During each one, colorful posters fill our hallways so students can learn about the people, history, and traditions that make our community so rich.
Now we’re bringing the fun home! During each heritage month, your family will receive a Culture Card Bingo kit. This month, we’re celebrating Native American Heritage Month.
What’s in the kit?
Each kit has 8 bingo cards, a set of culture cards, and easy directions.
How to play:
Pick a culture card and read it out loud (little ones can read with a grown-up!). Call out the number on the card, and everyone marks it on their bingo card if they have it. The first person to get 4 in a row wins!
This game is for everyone, from kids to grandparents, and can be played many times over. Our hope is that it brings your family together for some laughs, some learning, and a chance to celebrate the many cultures around us.
Have fun, and happy playing!
