Running Club 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th Grade
Please join us for the spring session of Run Club at Lincoln Elementary! This session of Run Club is open to 1st through 5th grade students who are interested in running, spending time with friends, and being part of a positive community. Run Club is coordinated by Miss Loveless (lovelessa@gjps.org) and run by staff and parent volunteers. Run Club will meet from 2:45-3:30pm on Wednesdays.
Please note our meeting dates: April 23rd, 30th, and May 7th, 14th, and 21st
We will meet at the stair seats in the hallway outside of the main office.
Sign ups for runners will be on a first come first served basis, although preference may be given to runners who have an adult willing to volunteer. Space is limited. You will receive an email from Miss Loveless confirming your spot.
*We ask students to commit to missing no more than one meeting. Please arrive promptly by 3:30 for pickup.
If a student is picked up after 3:40 twice, or after 3:45 once, there will be a conversation about club membership.*
During Running Club, we will do a short warm up, run laps around the school, and end with some stretching.
2025-2026 School Year
As we begin planning for the upcoming school year, it’s important for us to have accurate enrollment information. If your child will not be returning to our school next year, please let us know as soon as possible.
Kindly email our school secretary, Mrs. Pedrotty, at pedrottya@gjps.org to inform us of your plans.
Thank you for your help as we prepare for a successful year ahead!
PTO Meeting April 16th
April PTO meeting. Members of the School Board will be giving a presentation on the Fair School Funding Plan.
Arrival Change
For the safety of our students and staff, we are making an important change to our morning arrival procedures. From 7:45–8:05 a.m., no vehicles will be permitted to enter the main parking lot from Schillingwood Dr. or Helmbright Dr. unless you have a valid handicap tag or a pass issued by Lincoln.
All other families should use the car loop. If you arrive and find the car loop doors locked, please continue through the loop, park in the main lot, and walk your child into the building to sign them in.
Thank you for helping us keep all students safe!
OST Important Dates
All 3rd, 4th and 5th graders will take part in the OST this year. Please see the schedule below and try not to make any appointments or schedule vacations during these dates. Please reach out to your child's teacher, if you have any questions.
