Each month, Faculty and Staff send out “shout outs” to their fellow colleagues for the amazing work they have done or the incredible spirit they displayed. It is featured in our “The Week Ahead Newsletter." All the featured staff are then placed into a drawing. One name emerges each month for the "Leading the Pack" honor, along with a fantastic prize courtesy of Raindrop Car Wash. A huge round of applause for LACEY REESER! Also, thank you to Raindrop Car Wash for their generous sponsorship of this new and exciting award.

Custodian Appreciation Day

We appreciate Robbie, Mike, and Logan, our HTHS custodians who keep our school looking its best and running smoothly. They are always ready with a smile and helping hand, and we are incredibly grateful for them every day!

Math Tutoring

Mu Alpha Theta will be offering tutoring on Tuesdays at 7:30am in Mrs. Wickersham's room starting October 7th. The tutors are advanced math students who can help with Geometry, Algebra I, and Algebra II as well as advanced level work. No need to sign up--just show up!

Let's Honor Our Veterans!

Veterans Day is coming up, and we want to celebrate the heroes in our own families! We are creating our annual Veterans Day Slideshow and invite you to share a photo and information about a veteran in your immediate family—a mother, father, brother, sister, step-parent, or step-sibling. This is a wonderful way to honor their service and sacrifice. It will be featured on our own HTHS TV Announcements as well as our Newsletter. Hewitt-Trussville High School to Host Veterans Day Breakfast

Hewitt-Trussville High School is honored to invite all military-connected families to a special Veterans Day Breakfast on Tuesday, November 4th, at 7:30 a.m. The event will be held in the school library.

This breakfast is our way of expressing gratitude and respect for the service and sacrifice of our military families. We look forward to gathering with you to honor your commitment to our country.
