Exams Next Week

Semester 1 exams will occur next week. Please review the posted exam schedule—exams cannot be given early, and students may not leave and return during the school day unless it’s for a medical appointment. If you have questions or need help preparing, reach out to your teachers. The exam schedule is available HERE.

Out-of-Building Reminders
If your student needs to leave school during the day, including during the adjusted exam schedule next week, please request an out-of-building pass by calling our attendance line at (614) 801-6520. You can also use the Attendance Request feature in the Parent Portal for quick and convenient processing. These requests can be submitted in advance to help check-out go more smoothly. Thank you for helping us ensure a safe and organized dismissal process!

SWCA Application Information for Sophomores

Sophomore students can now apply to the South-Western Career Academy (SWCA), where a wide array of career-technical programs are available. The SWCA offers hands-on learning experiences that prepare students for college, careers, and industry credentials. Below are a few important dates for the SWCA application timeline to help families plan ahead.

January 27 - CCHS Sophomore field trip to SWCA 9:30-11:15 - School counselors will visit English classes January 13-15 to discuss logistics and hand out permission slips. Students MUST return a permission slip in order to go on the field trip.
January 28 - SWCA Program Preview Night 6:00-7:30 pm - Families are welcome to attend and visit programs.
February 4 - SWCA application due for round 1 - Students are STRONGLY encouraged to wait until after the field trip to apply since students can apply to ONLY ONE program.
