Principal's Message
Dear Clairmont Families,
Thank you to all of the families who attended Coffee with the Principal, asked thoughtful questions, and shared feedback. Your time, ideas, and voice help make Clairmont a better place for our students, families, and staff. We truly value your partnership and appreciate your continued support!
Mrs. Johnston

Best Day Ever Volunteers
The Best Day Ever is quickly approaching, and we are in need of 10–12 parent volunteers to help supervise and support this fun event! Please contact the office as soon as possible if you are interested in volunteering. Volunteers can sign up for the full event from 8:15–11:30 AM, or for one of two shifts: 8:15–10:00 AM for TK–2nd grade or 9:45–11:30 AM for Grades 3-6. We appreciate your support in helping make this a special day for our students!
Afterschool club updates
A huge shout out to our amazing club advisors for all of their hard work and dedication this year: Running Club — Mrs. Williams and Mr. Shigematsu,
Volleyball Club — Miss Lee,
Art Club — Miss Bunn and Miss Preet
Board Game Club — Miss Rosas and Miss Saldua.
Our clubs are beginning to wind down for the year, with Running Club, Art Club, and Volleyball Club now completed, and only two more week left for Board Game Club. Thank you to all of our advisors for creating fun, engaging opportunities for our students beyond the classroom. Keep your eyes open for even more club opportunities next year!
Fingerprinting
Did you miss our on-site fingerprinting event? No problem—there’s still time to get cleared to volunteer!
Fingerprinting is required for classroom volunteering and field trip supervision. You can find more information and sign up here:
https://www.lodiusd.net/families/volunteer
Once completed, fingerprinting is valid for the entire time your child attends Clairmont.
We will need many parent volunteers for our upcoming Day of Awesomeness and future field trips. Additionally, if you have a current 5th grader, we will be looking for chaperones for Science Camp next year if we reach our fundraising goal.
Thank you for your support—we look forward to having you involved!

Have You Reported Your Students' Absence?
If your student will be out, be sure to call the office at 209-953-8267 optioin 3, to report your their absence. Students who have a medical or dental appointment will need to bring a note from their doctor upon their return.
Additionally, it is important your student arrives on time, ready to learn. Students should be on the blacktop at 7:55 AM, school starts at 8:00 AM and students are expected to be in their classes at this time. If students are arriving to school late, they are missing critical time that sets the structure for their day, including instruction and warm-up activities
