Schoology - End of Year Reporting
As you are aware, our school division currently uses Schoology to report on student progress. Schoology is a live reporting platform that provides parents/guardians with up-to-date evidence of learning for each child. With these advanced features in reporting, our schools no longer provide paper copies of report cards at the end of the year as each family can access student grades conveniently for the current and previous years.
Teachers have been busy inputting assessments and comments in Schoology. We encourage you to log into Schoology as we near the end of the school year. If you are needing more information on Schoology, links to log in, or instructions on how to download the app, please visit our webpage using the following link: Schoology
On the last day of school, parents will receive an end of year letter from the school which will include instructions on how to access Schoology/print a report if desired. As well, K-4 homeroom teachers will email home a certificate of placement.
Please do not hesitate to reach out if you are requiring any support in this area.
Lost & Found
Our lost & found is overflowing! Please be sure to check the lost & found for missing items prior to June 23th as we will be packing everything up to donate that day.
Air Quality Guidelines
With the possibility of a decrease in air quality due to forest fires, we want to share with you the guidelines we are following when making decisions about student safety. We are utilising the Air Quality Health Index as a guide. Health Canada recommends that if the AQHII is above “7”, outdoor activities must be moved inside and strenuous activities such as games/practices should be cancelled.
For a further breakdown of recommendations, please see the following link: AQHI Health Messages. We strive to ensure a safe environment for all our students and will err on the side of caution when making decisions around air quality. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to us.
This information is also available on our website: Inclement Weather Procedures
