Students are academically ineligible if they have less than a 2.0 grade point average (GPA, NOT QPA) or more than one failing, incomplete, or medical grade in the 4th quarter. Fall eligibility is determined by the 4th quarter grades ONLY. (Quarter grades, NOT final grades). This requirement does not apply to incoming 9th grade students for initial fall eligibility.

*BCPS does not offer a probationary period for students not meeting the academic eligibility standard.
