πŸ›‘οΈ School Safety Drills & Emergency Preparedness πŸ›‘οΈ School Safety Drills & Emergency Preparedness

At Davis Elementary, the safety and well-being of our students and staff is always a priority. Throughout the school year, we conduct a variety of safety and emergency preparedness drills in accordance with Lodi Unified School District procedures and our Comprehensive School Safety Plan.

These practices help students and staff become familiar with how to respond calmly and appropriately during an emergency. Our staff receives training and participates in these drills so that we can continue to build a safe and prepared school community.

If you live near Davis Elementary, you may occasionally hear automated announcements, alarms, or other sounds during a scheduled safety drill. These sounds are part of our preparedness practices and do not necessarily indicate that an emergency is occurring.

We understand that conversations about emergency preparedness can sometimes create worry for children. For this reason, we approach safety drills in an age-appropriate and reassuring manner, providing students with the information they need to practice safe responses without creating unnecessary fear or anxiety.

Thank you for partnering with us as we work together to keep our Davis Tigers safe and prepared.
